Introduction
ServerEngine is a server automation application by ServerEngine (owned by Claudio Orlando). The application collects only the minimal data required for license activation. Sensitive information such as server credentials remains local and encrypted on your machine at all times.
Information collection and use
For license activation, the application collects license information, DNS hostname and domain, operating-system details, CPU model, processor count, and Microsoft Store account data. This data is used solely for license activation purposes.
Data access and security
ServerEngine does not access or transmit the contents of your files, settings, or credentials to ServerEngine. Credentials are stored locally with full encryption, and you remain in control of all sensitive information.
Microsoft account email and newsletter
Installing via the Microsoft Store may capture the associated email address, which is used for product updates and security notices via MailPoet, a GDPR-compliant provider. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The website uses cookies to improve user experience and for non-personally-identifiable analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Third-party services
Website analytics services are employed, but no personally identifiable information or server details collected by ServerEngine are shared with these services.
User rights
You retain full control of your data. Since the application does not store personal information beyond license activation, there is no user data held by ServerEngine.
