Notifications
Know about a problem before your users do — over the channels you already watch.
Channels

| Windows toast | Native notifications on the machine running ServerEngine — no setup. |
| Email (SMTP) | Bring your own SMTP server; one-click presets for Gmail, Zoho, Microsoft 365, and iCloud. |
| Slack | Post to your channels via S.E.N.T.R.I's Slack skill (up to three channels). |
What triggers a notification
You choose which events fire alerts. Common ones include:
- A job is assigned to automation.
- A job completes.
- A connection to a host fails.
- A script fails.
- A credential, script, or schedule is deleted.
Email setup
Enter your SMTP server, port, username, password, and the from/to addresses — or click a provider preset to fill the server details automatically. Then tick the events you want emailed.
Slack is a skill
Slack messaging is available through S.E.N.T.R.I — the agent can post updates to your channels as part of a workflow, in addition to the automatic toast and email alerts.
